Seven Oaks Women’s Center has long been committed to cost effective, minimally invasive surgery to diagnose and treat a multitude of gynecologic conditions. As such, our physicians are highly skilled in these techniques and perform advanced laparoscopic procedures on a regular basis.
In line with this commitment, we are excited to announce that Dr Brian Harle, Dr Christine Delagarza, Dr Heidi Heck, Dr Parke Hedges and Dr Bryan Cox are now offering a new, state-of-the-art approach to performing more complex gynecological surgical procedures through the use of the da Vinci Surgical System. This robotic surgery will allow for laparoscopic treatment of certain conditions that would otherwise require a traditional approach with larger incisions and longer recovery.
Common conditions that can by treated with this advance technique include: uterine fibroids, severe endometriosis, large or complex ovarian cysts, uterine and/or vaginal prolapse, and certain uterine conditions requiring hysterectomies.
Seven Oaks Women’s Center is proud of our history in San Antonio as a premier OB-GYN medical group who has developed a strong reputation for quality care and good clinical outcome since 1996. Our physicians ensure they stay current with all of the latest techniques and training available to provide you with the most appropriate options to treat your condition.
While we remain committed to traditional laparoscopy, we believe the da Vinci Surgical System is one more tool which allows for minimally invasive treatment of conditions which might otherwise require an open, more invasive surgical approach.
Set up an appointment today to discuss your current conditions. Robotic surgery may be the best means of treatment to bring you relief and a quicker return to normal activities.
Client Testimonial:
A recent patient, Denise, said “this was the best thing I’ve done!”
What impressed her the most about this surgical experience was the ability to return to normal activity so quickly; had surgery on Wednesday, was back at the gym on Monday.
“The pain level was nothing and Dr. Harle was very professional in his manner!”
